Asuka Watanabe is from Japan and living in The Netherlands.
She studied at the Joffrey Ballet School and Steps on Broadway in the US. And then graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands.
She has danced for various projects with the choreographers such as Maurice Causey and Sagi Gross. She currently works as a dance teacher at, among others, Amsterdam Dance Centre, Studio Anna Mora, and the dance company De Stilte in The Netherlands. Last few years she was teaching at Amsterdam University of the Arts. Furthermore, she graduated from Holos academy of massage therapy in Utrecht, The Netherlands in 2018 as a holistic masseur.
In 2018 she started teaching “Asuka Method Foundation Class” and “Asuka Method Ballet” at the dance studios. She gave the workshops at the Pineapple Dance Studios in London and at Dock 11 in Berlin in 2019. Since 2019 she started teaching “Asuka Method Yoga Flow” at the yoga studio and the fitness club. She believes when we are grounded to our own nature and connect to the universe, we find the meaning and the mission of our own life. So that we can create our authentic happiness and freedom.
